When to raise prices?

Just do it. Donít beat yourself up; donít lose sleep over your decision. Here's a secret: Your best customers/ Builders will be surprised that you didnít raise prices sooner, because they value your gutter work. Itís possible that you may lose a customer or two over your increase, but those clients are likely to be your problem contractors anyway. If you still can't bring yourself to boost prices, try introducing a price increase for new customers only. It depends on the market you're in, but if you can, this allows you to test the waters before increasing prices for existing contractors.
